Here’s a great trick that doesn’t cost much more than a box of matches and requires only a short preparation.I’ve made a slight change to the demonstration. Instead of triggering the ignition with one hand, I hold one match between my thumb and forefinger in one hand and the other match in the other hand.Then, I explain that I mentally charge the left – hand match negatively and the right – hand match positively.I close my eyes briefly, focus my concentration, and bring the two matches together.Suddenly, they ignite. It’s crucial to hold them together so that both matches burn simultaneously, not just one.
