Mavresis is coming back to the Academy with a whole host of new material. Nikolas has quickly become one of our favorite creators. His routines are always easy to do, creative and commercial!
On this evening you will learn a bunch of his killer new creations.
1) POISON ON STEROIDS
This is a 2-phase mentalism routine using the new Poison deck that will be coming out in the near future.
2) DESTINATIONS
If you own âDestinationsâ you are in for a treat. If you donât, no worries. I will show you how you can make this up yourself. The âDestinationâ pack has a secret feature that I took advantage of to create the fairest âDo As I Doâ routine.
3) ACTIVITY
You are going to play a game with your participants. Every black card has an âaction verb/wordâ written on the back. Every red card has a ânounâ. When they name any black and red card, they will create a sentence. There are 676 different combinations. Let the game begin!
4) THE LUCKY CARD
Finding the spectatorâs lucky card can be fun but also dangerous in case they select the âAce of Spadesâ which many consider as the âDeath Cardâ.
5) 3-PHASE MIRACLE CARD ROUTINE
This is a card act that is perfect for a parlor setting or even stage! A sealed deck of cards is used that has been shuffled by the participants. 3 participants select a card each. While my back is turned, I name all 3 cards with 100% accuracy. This is phase #1. Now, please allow me not to describe the next 2 phases because I donât want to spoil anything. Just believe me when I say âit is getting better and betterâ.
6) ANY BOOK â ANY PAGE â ANY WORD!
Thatâs right. The spectator selects a book, they then THINK of any page and any word. Hopefully, I will predict everything!
7) THE âSâ STACK
I will make a statement: âThis is the easiest drawing duplication you will ever learn in your lifeâ.
8) A TOY PREDICTION
This is a nostalgic routine that takes the participant to their childhood years. A novelty pack of toy cards is shown along with a wooden box that contains a prediction. The spectator selects a toy and the prediction matches.
9) FEELING LUCKY
Most people use playing cards to play games, gamblers use them to win money, and magicians to do card tricks. This routine combines all three!
10) VILLAINS Vs DETECTIVES
A fun match-up routine using famous bad guys and fictional detectives.
