Description

the second release in the mythic collection.
If you liked Mana by Lewis Le Val, you’re going to love Prana.

Prana is the sleeker, faster variation of Mana that never made it into the original project. The premise is the same, the method and handling is different.

Here’s what happens:

Hand a business card to a participant and ask them to draw something, anything, on the back. This is done whilst you look away.

Next, hand them two more business cards, and ask them to mix all three so that you couldn’t know which one contains the drawing.

You then mix the cards in the same way, so that nobody knows which card has the drawing on the back.

The cards are placed in a line, face down on the table, and you explain that you will first try to sense which card contains the drawing, and then try to describe the drawing itself, without ever seeing it.

You eliminate two cards, confirmed by your participant to be blank, and you then proceed to describe and reveal the drawing on the final card before it is turned over.

All you need are three business cards and a pen, which can all be borrowed.

In this 27 minute tutorial video, you will learn the full routine from start to finish, multiple ways to get your peek, and multiple ways to close the routine, allowing you to construct a handling that suits you best.

Also included is the “Spectator Intuition” portion of the original Mana routine, which can also be used as an added moment at the end of Prana.

Prana also features several simple yet optically deceptive moves that could also be used in other business card routines.

Perform Prana as a standalone piece, or before performing Mana for an extended demonstration of your intuitive sensory skills.
